SmartStrand: tested by (huge) animals

Often referred to as the "corn carpet." SmartStrand is renewable, renewable, sustainable, and made from plant-based material.

It also lined a 5400-rhinoceros cage, where this animal stomped around for two weeks. In the end, there was no damage; all it needed to clean was a hose-down with warm water.

Style: some are better than others for homes with pets

Looped piles, such as Berber or level loops, are durable. Their short, tightly woven fibers keep spills from absorbing, increasing stain resistance.

Low-pile rugs are considered the most durable and most straightforward to keep clean. In addition, they are soft, fashionable, and often seen in busy offices.

Fiber: This may be the most critical decision you'll make

Wool is natural and strong. Nylon is known for its super strength. Triexta is strong and known for permanent stain resistance built into the floor covering fiber.

Olefin is durable and mainly associated with looped constructions. Polyester has outstanding stain resistance but is better for moderately busy rooms.

Also, inquire about other fibers, including Mohawk's Protection Plus stain. In addition, EF carpeting often comes with 100% PureColor® Solution Dyed BCF. The latter is a fiber system with lifetime stain, fade, and pet stain resistance.
